“From a far away land rises a mighty hero. The son of peasants from two different realms, the one known only as Barack protects the people of Hope Kingdom at all costs…”
So goes the tale of Barack the Barbarian, the protagonist in a new series of comic books written by author Larry Hama.
A new release from Devil’s Due Publishing, these gems are sure-to-be collectibles for political satirists and culture vultures.
Hama, who served as writer and editor for Marvel Comics, certainly has the skills to pull a great story together…as the man behind the famed Wolverine, and G.I. Joe, A Real American Hero comic book series, there should be some sweet action between the Barbarian and Sarah the Red, Boosh the Dim, and Cha-nee. I’ll let you connect the dots…

Conan O’Brien is in LA now. Can’t they include him too? Sarah will be great in the comics! Maybe she will have Katie Couric read them to her!
